Privacy and data processing

How Calnex browser tools process inputs, what website requests involve and how external resources differ from local calculation.

Tool inputs

The calculator and utility engines run in the browser. Formatting text, converting units and the browser image tools do not require uploading the entered content to a calculation server. Downloading the application, translations and assets still involves network requests.

Hosting and external resources

Website delivery through Cloudflare can process request metadata such as IP address, requested URL and user agent. Some AI text tools download model files before running locally. Opening an external reference or feedback link sends a request to that provider, whose policies apply.

Shareable tool URLs

The math solver includes the expression in its shareable URL. Opening or sharing that link sends the expression as part of the requested URL, even though the calculation runs in the browser. Avoid sensitive data in shared links.

Browser storage

The interface stores preferences such as theme in browser storage. You can remove locally saved preferences through your browser settings. Local processing is a description of computation, not a promise that visiting the site creates no network traffic.
